Alison Doody
Alison Doody, born 11 November 1966 in Ireland is a model and actor. She made her feature film debut with a tiny part in Bond film A View to a Kill (1985) she went on to appear as a Nazi-sympathising archaeologist Elsa Schneider, in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989). Siobhan donnevan starred featured in A Prayer for the Dying in 1987, Charlotte was in Taffin (in 1988) and Rebecca Flannery played Major League II. Doody began modelling after being approached by an experienced photographer. It led to an enviable professional career as a model for commercials. Doody was determined to steer clear of glamorous and sexy roles, that was a rule she followed in her acting. She was cast in a minor role as Jenny Flex for 1985's A View to a Kill following the fact that she was noticed by the director who cast her. Doody was listed in John Willis Screen World's Vol. 3 as one of the 12 most promising actors from 1986. 38. Doody, who was only 18 when she played Doody in the movie A Prayer to the Dying (1987) with Mickey Rourke. Doody is the youngest Bond girl to be seen. The year 1987 was the time Mickey Rourke starred in A Prayer for the Dying where she played IRA members Siobhan Doovan. Doody played Archibald Craven in his dreams in the 1987 adaptation from The Secret Garden. She also played Lilias. In a Jim Henson fantasy episode The Storyteller in 1988, Doody played Sapsorrow along with John Hurt Dawn French Jennifer Saunders. She starred alongside Pierce Brosnan, in the 1988 film Taffin. In the following film, she played her biggest role yet in the film Taffin as Austrian Archaeologist and Nazisympathiser The doctor. Elsa Schneider playing alongside Harrison Ford. Doody is part of the James Bond family, having been in the film with Sean Connery and Jonathan Pryce in 1989's Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Doody costarred with Jonathan Pryce, in the British miniseries Selling Hitler. The series was an inspiration for the Hitler Diaries publishing scam. After moving to Hollywood, Doody became famous. She took over Cybill Shepherd as the L'Oreal spokesperson part. She then played Flannery Sheen's girlfriend and his agent alongside Charlie Sheen, as Major League II was released in 1994. Doody who was off acting for more than 10 years, returned in 2003 to take on a tiny role on her role in the British comedy The Actors in which Michael Caine was her character in a scene during the ceremony for awards. The year 2004, she appeared with Patrick Swayze alongside a TV adaptation to King Solomon's Mines. Also Doody was on Benjamin's Struggle (2005), which was a pamphlet that described the Holocaust. In 2010, Doody shot a part in Danny Dyer's film The Rapture (2010). She was also set to take on the role of lead in The Asphyx remake, but that project fell through. Pam Jefferson is her role in the E4 Comedy Drama Beaver Falls' first of two seasons. In 2014, she was a part of We Still Kill the Old Way. Almeria the tierra de cinema award, and an Almeria Walk of Fame star were awarded on the 21st of November, 2018.
